Prehistoric Fantasy Landscape Triptych - Summer 2021

This triptych landscape came together as the evolution of a commission from my college roommate for her son’s bedroom. Taking into account some of his favorite dinosaurs such as the T-Rex, Apatosaurus, & Spinosaurus, along with his love of Dragons & Godzilla, I conceptualized a world where they could all co-exist together in harmony. A T-Rex naps above some palm trees while a sneaky Spinosaurus snatches up a coconut for later. A couple Apatosauri gather by the water. A Dragon flies overhead while baby Godzilla gazes in amazement. In the distance, an active volcano dwarfs the tiny trees & waterfall nearby. The sun sets out of frame & the moon rises in the sky.
